morning I uploaded my second treat box video which was one of two
Scalloped Tag Topper swaps I received at Telford, at the beginning of the
posted the first video, Wendy’s Treat Box on Sunday. At a quick glance
both boxes look the same.
The difference is that Wendy’s Treat Box is like a
box, in as much as it has fixed sides and flaps.
The Gold Cat Treat box
is held together as a box by using a belly band.
I found both boxes were
a pleasure to make and I like the finished look of them both.
I really don’t prefer one over the other!
The Gold Cat box has a gap between the base of the
sides and the base.

I think it works well. Going foward, when I need a small box like this,
I’ll probably toss a coin to decide which one to make!
used Emerald Envy Cardstock (CS) and ribbon for these boxes. The
coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP) is Presents & Pinecones
I used the reindeer, and the gingerbread boy and girl for the images. These are from the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set. There’s a coordinating punch that also punches out the images.
I stamped the gingerbread boy and girl on Whisper White CS using Soft Suede ink. Using the Cookie Cutter punch, I punched out a bow tie for the boy and a hairbow for the girl, and two buttons for each of them, using Cherry Cobbler CS.
I stamped the reindeer on Crumb Cake CS using Soft Suede ink and punched them out using the Cookie Cutter Punch.
I stamped the nose on a piece of Cherry Cobbler CS and cut it out by hand. I adhered it using Tombow.
I’m off out early this morning as I have a routine check up at the hospital, and I have a few arrands to run before I can come back home for a nice cup of tea!
