As always, my workshops went well with brilliant cards and 3D projects made by all my ladies. Although I design the cards and projects, I always leave areas of choice! I love to see how different my designs look when someone applies their own creativity.
I changed the decoration on the Tealight Box from what I have shown in previous photographs. Today, we made a flowers from patterned paper. The first three (from L to R) were made with 3 layers and the last one with 6 layers.
Dear Jan,
I saw a youtube presentation today that you did back in 2017 using lamp posts & two way stamps. In this particular one you used a precious snowman on the front & his back side just inside the front flap on the card front and it just blew me away! I think SU should re-visit some of those as well as the large letters & numbers you used for a birthday card for a 93 year old Mum. Stunning….just stunning!. Rather the lamp posts & the other beautiful stamps you use that are so elegant than the chickens from Happy Birthday Chick & the one that goes with it. Anyway, gotta love SU & the distinktives & I really love the Calming Camellias in the SAB this go round. I’d love to see what you’d do with that one.
I just became a demonstrator last month & long for more dies like the small deer shapes you used. Seems too, the dies are less substantial than before but I guess we must cut costs to keep the store running.
I love your work and have signed up so I hope to get notifications when you have a new post. I keep a running list of your presentations so I can go back & watch them when I need some new techniques or ideas & mainly inspiration. Thousands will continue to watch & grow artistically from your guidance & direction. I truly love your genius. We so appreciate your beautiful work.
Stay well M’Dear, & do take good care,
Sincerely,

Hi, Mona. Welcome to the Stampin’ Up! family. Yes the lamppost set was absolutely gorgeous! At last!!! Someone else who doesn’t like the chick stamp sets! I thought I was the only one! I cannot see anything attractive in those sets whatsoever! Fortunately, it’s extremely rare that SU come out with anything as hideous. I love the distinktive stamp sets they are absolutely amazing! I also think our Stamparatus blows all other stamp positioners right out of the water too! The dies are now SU dies and not Sizzix dies. SU designed tham so they are easier to line up on our stamped images rather than trying to make sure we have eqi distance for the white edging with the Sizzix dies. Yes they are lighter but just as durable! As you like the Calming Camellia, you must watch this video by Frenchie aka France Martin – the second card she made was absolutely stunning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=incg3O395VU I hope you enjoy it. Take care and stay safe. xx
