Do you remember the butterfly glitter window card I posted here the other day – the ones I’m doing at this month’s workshops?
I was given two orders for personalised birthday cards and I thought what else could I use for glitter windows apart from butterflies. The answer I came up with is flowers! So I gave it a go and was really pleased with the finished effect. This is the first card I made:-

My two favourite stamp sets at the moment are Flower Shop (the larger flower) and Petite Petals (the smaller flower) – both have co-ordinating punches. Judging by the swaps I received at Telford on Saturday, a lot of other demonstrators agree with me!
I used this design for the personalised card for my (regular) client. I chose Pistachio Pudding as the colour and changed the design of the small stamped flower in the middle. I also changed the sentiment and used an oval die to cut out the sentiment. I then used the 3/8″ Ruffle Stretch ribbon around the outside. Don’t you agree this is the most gorgeous of trims!

I will have a look at other SU products I can use for this technique – watch this space!
