These are the two dry wipe boards I made at the workshops on Saturday. There were three colours I could have chosen from the patterned DSP for the flowers and chose Baked Brown Sugar. I’m really pleased with the result but today I’ve been trying to think if there are any flowers that are brown – apart from dead or dying flowers! I’m sure there are but can’t think of any. I’m now on a mission to find out! Please let me know if you know of any.
During the workshops, we also realised that the pens would adhere to the boards without rolling off. This is because there is a coating on the perspex. Unfortunately, when any writing is rubbed off, so is the coating! So the advice is, make sure that only the area over the white area is rubbed. This way the coating will stay on the top area and will grip the pen. I’m now on another mission. This time to find out what can be put on the surface that will grip the pen without affecting the writing. Again, if you know the answer to this, please let me know. Many thanks.
