Yesterday I promised I’d show you the gift box from the Telford Make-n-Take. Actually, I have two items to show you. One of the presentations at Regional Training was how to organise and run a successful workshop (home party). The presenter explained that she always gives the hostess a gift that she had made. On this occasion it was a box of Thank You cards.
So the second project I am showing you is my take on the Thank You card. I brought my Make-n-Take home with me so I could enjoy making it in the comfort of my studio. The first thing I did was to change the card base to an A6 size instead of the smaller note card size. Fortunately the embossed sheet was big enough for me to do this but obviously the finished project is too big for the box. But this isn’t a problem as I will use the box as a gift box!
This is the box which has been designed to hold 4 Thank You cards plus envelopes. The patterned paper has been stamped using three of the stamps from the Petite Petals stamp set – this is one of my absolute favourite stamps sets – as well as the Label Love Stamp Set. And I absolutely love the
design created here.
This is my ramped up version of the Thank You card. The embossed background has been
created by a new embossing folder that will be available in the new catalogue – available from 1st July 2014! I will definitely be getting one – I have ideas buzzing in my head
about what I want to do with it. Again, I have used the same two stamp sets as the gift box.
