Hello, Crafters.
Today has been a really
superb day. I swapped
all my swaps plus 3
of my “rejects”.
The faults
on these
weren’t
major but
they were
bad enough
that I
wouldn’t
have used
them for
actual cards.
I am absolutely
amazed at all the
different ideas
demonstrators come
up with for their
swaps!
I am also amazed
at how many are
3D projects as opposed
to card fronts.
The three most
outstanding ideas were
a pair of earrings, a
windmill made from our
“clay” and another
idea that included two
sparklers (hand-held
fireworks)!
When I get back home
I’ll photograph them
and post the best on here.
The charity Stampin’ Up!
supports is Ronald
McDonald House.
RMHC keeps families
together and helps
children heal.
Today, Stampin’ Up!
set up long tables
ladened with goodies
to be boxed up for
children who have to
spend their birthday
in hospital.
We all collected a
box and filled it with
all sorts of stamping
goodies.
We then sealed our
boxes and put them
on the stacks ready
to go!
All in all, a fabulous day – I’m looking forward to day two tomorrow! Until then, happy crafting.
JanB.
