Day for work and chores

Uncategorized

18 Feb

Hello, Crafters.

How long do you go without crafting before you get withdrawal symptoms? For me, one day is OK but 2 is a bit of an effort and after the third I am definitely feeling short changed! But working and chores both have to be done!

So yesterday my day was work followed by a long overdue trip to the supermarket. I have to use one of the smaller trolleys so I know that I can get all my shopping into my car…….it’s a small car, well, a sports car, really. It definitely wasn’t designed with shopping in mind but I can get an amazing amount in there. Unfortunately, not quite enough, so I have to go back again today. Urrgghhh! This won’t happen in future as I will make sure my trips to the supermarket are more regular!

As well as working today, I am also going to Hobbycraft to spend the gift voucher I was given when I left my London job a couple of weeks ago. I have a small list of things I’d like to get…..more about that tomorrow!

Today’s card is an Easter card I made a couple of year’s ago. Unfortunately the border embossing folder is now retired as well as the ribbon.

Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

Can totally relate to the going more than a day or two and you're going through some serious withdrawal symptoms from not being able to work on paper crafting. Unfortunately LIFE can get in the way sometimes, can't it? Love the beautiful Easter card, BTW … looking forward to seeing what you come up with this year!! Have a great day!! Hugs, Geraldine

Good Morning! First of all, great Easter card! I have the embossing folder thankfully! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for this year. Also, I had to giggle over your "withdrawal" comments for when Life "gets in the way" … I can too easily relate! Funny but so true! Love that you're sharing the photo's from your Florida trip also … wishing you a splendid time away for your next adventure coming up! Thanks again and happy crafting to you too! Hugs, Geraldine
