Hello, Crafters.
I have just posted a video showing how I made one of last week’s butterfly challenge cards, which inspired the swap I’ve made for our Team Training event today.
This is the link: Watercolour Wings & Team Training Swap
The photograph is the challenge card but for the swap I omitted the Bordering Blooms, which is the second card.
On the challenge card I coloured the blooms using Old Olive and Blushing Bride ink pads with a Blender Pen.
On the video I used Marker Pens which makes the colours a lot darker but the technique I demonstrated in the video applies to whichever method of colouring you choose to use.
The colours I used for my swap are Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake.
I am totally in love with this new Brick Wall Embossing Folder – I think the impression it gives is absolutely superb.
The sentiment I used on the swap is the same sentiment I used for the video.
As soon as I have finished writing this, I have to go and get changed! The clothes I’m wearing are suitable for a nice sunny day, which it was when I showered and dressed almost two hours ago – it’s now very overcast and raining! As soon as I have changed, I have to make tracks for today’s Team Training! I’m still looking forward to the day, it’ll take a bit more than rain to dampen my spirits! Anyway, I’ll be coming home with some super swaps that I can share with you! Happy Sunday and God bless.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting. ☺
