I had a brilliant time yesterday, playing with my Envelope Punch Board.
I found the instructions for the pink box on YouTube made by Sam Donald.
She used some very pretty Designer Series Paper but I decided to use cardstock.
For the pink box, I stamped the outside using Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set and Pretty in Pink ink and cardstock (both retired).
Unfortunately, I don’t have a re-inker and my inkpad is quite dry, which has resulted in the flowers not being very visible.
I stamped the reverse side of the cardstock using Elegant Eggplant Ink and the spotty stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set.
I wasn’t happy that you can see inside the box although, it’s not a problem if you wrap the gift you’re putting inside with co-ordinating tissue paper.
I really liked the way the flaps crossed over the front of the box, so decided to have another go.
This time I used Mint Macaroon, stamped with Garden Green Ink.
Unfortunately, I put the adhesive on the wrong side – doh! – so the flaps had to go inside – happy mistake!
I love the look of this box.
I decorated it with the Flower Shop, Petite Petals, Papillon Potpourri and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets.
I finished off using the gorgeous lace trim in Mint Macaroon.
As I said earlier, I liked how Sam had made her box with DSP, so for my third box, I covered my cardstock with the flowery design paper that comes with the Designer Series Paper Stack 2015 – 2017 In Colours – the colour I used is Watermelon Wonder.
I left it a little while to let the Tombow glue dry.
This time I used Watercolour Wings, Pictogram Punches and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets to decorate the outside.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
