Hello, Crafters.
Yesterday, I eventually decided to accept the first suggestion on Veronica’s challenge list which I told you about the other day. The challenge is: Select one Stampin’ Up! die set and use it in as many ways as possible.
So I started at the beginning and Project 1 is a card where I have used the Deco Labels Collection Framelits #130102 for straight-forward layering. There are four dies in this set and I used numbers 3 and 4. If you watch my videos, you’ll know that I always count my framelits from the smaller to the larger. My saying is: The smaller the die the smaller the number!
My card base is Smoky Slate and I put a layer of the old design (retired) Designer Series Paper Stack as my first layer. Please note that Designer Series Paper Stacks are still available but the designs have been changed. These are such amazingly good value for money that I’m still using the stacks I bought more than three years ago! I can’t wait until I’ve finished what I have so I can buy the new ones – the new designs are really gorgeous.
I used the Timeless Love Stamp Set for the flowers and the sentiment, stamped with Smoky Slate ink. I layered the sentiment on a Smoky Slate die cut and adhered to the front of the card using Dimensionals.
I made the hearts using the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers #137856. I punched two hearts out of Smoky Grey Cardstock using the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack. I used Tombow glue to adhere them to my card.
I’ve already decided what my project is for today and I’m really looking forward to making it! And with that little tease, until tomorrow, have a great day and happy crafting.
JanB.
