I’ve just uploaded my video show-casing the goodies I pre-ordered from the forth coming Christmas catalogue.
I think I ordered at least half the catalogue!!

Now onto card 2 of this week’s challenge.
I’m using the Peaceful Pines Stamp Set and Perfect Pines Framelits from the forth-coming Christmas catalogue as this week’s challenge.
I decided on Black & Gold as my colour scheme because I wanted to heat emboss the Christmas tree and I know that Stampin’ Up! stamps are brilliant quality for this technique.
I started with a regular sized card base in Basic Black.
I added a layer of our Gold Foil which I embossed using the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder.
I stamped the Christmas Tree onto a piece of Basic Black card stock using Versamark and heat embossed using Gold Embossing Powder.
I layered this onto more Gold Foil and adhered to the card base using Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from the same stamp set in Versamark and heat embossed using Gold Embossing Powder as before.
I punched it out using the Washi Tape punch and shortened it as much as possible.
I layered it onto a piece of Basic Black card stock that had also been punched out using the Washi Tape Punch.
These were layered together and adhered to the card front using Dimensionals.
Inside the card, I adhered a layer of Whisper White card stock.
I die cut the second Christmas tree which I had heat embossed earlier and adhered to the white layer using Tombow glue.
This is not the kind of card I normally make but I’m really pleased with the result and really should do it more often.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting,
JanB.
