Shaped Easel Card

Uncategorized

9 Aug

Hello, Crafters.

I’ve had two days having a good spring clean – Friday was the office and Saturday was my studio.

Now all I need to get myself up to date with everything!

I had a bigger clear out in my studio because I was hoarding so much more in there – don’t we all?

You know those pictures and articles you keep because you’re absolutely certain you’ll use them one day but never do?

I had folders and folders of card ideas, how to sheets, hints and tips, 3D ideas, templates and goodness know what else!

I emptied 7 folders and the things I decided to keep went into just 1!

Unfortunately, this meant no crafting for two days except for card no 5 of last week’s challenge which
I posted here on yesterday’s blog.

I’m determined I’m going to make up for lost time and spend today and tomorrow crafting.

Hopefully this will result in four new videos….. …..which brings me nicely to today’s video.

I’m calling it Shaped Easel Card.

You may remember the pink shaped easel card I posted on my blog on 1st. August 2015?

I’ve re-posted the photograph at the bottom of this post.

It was the last card of my Week 8 Challenge – which was Different Uses for a Set of Dies and my chosen set was the Deco Labels Frames Collection.

I loved the card I made but it was much smaller than I really like for a birthday card.

I decided to try a different set of dies to make a “normal” sized-card – hence the video.

This is the link: Shaped Easel Card

It came out a great size, approximately 5.5″ x 5.5″ and I made 4 of them including the video’d card – once I started I couldn’t stop!

**Please note that the Designer Series Paper I used for the Real Red card is a retired product.

I hope you like this card as much as I do and give it a try.

In the meantime, until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.
