I’ve had a fantastic response to last week’s challenge card no. 5 which I showed here yesterday – Christmas Sunburst.
As promised I’ve uploaded the video on to YouTube.
This is the link: Christmas Sunburst
As you’ve probably noticed, when I make another card the same as one I’ve already made, I like to ring the changes a bit.
The Christmas Sunburst is no different.
As you saw with yesterday’s cards, I made one with Silver Foil rather than Glimmer Paper.
I have decided that I definitely prefer the cards with the Glimmer Paper.
I think the matt look of the foil is really lacking in something.
Thinking about it as I’m typing away here, I wonder if I could use my two way glue pen and sprinkle the Silver Foil with Dazzling Diamonds??
Now there’s an idea!
Before I try it, I’ll try a bit of scrap Silver Foil first, just to make sure it will adhere properly.
If it works, I’ll show you the results tomorrow.
Hopefully, by showing you the same cards with slight changes helps you decide which you prefer and you can go straight for it…….I hope so, anyway!
The card I’m showing you today is the first Christmas Sunburst card I made two years ago.
The fourth photograph shows a personalised one I made as a special order.
I extended the length so I had a clear area to put the sentiment and Mum & Dad.
The sentiment and the letters are not Stampin’ Up! products and the stamp set I used for this card retired in January 2014.
It had matching dies and was absolutely fabulous!
I hope you’re enjoying a very crafty weekend.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
