Hello, Crafters.
I have had a busy few days which have been tiring but a lot of fun.
I have always found crafters to be a really friendly group of people and my three days at the Creative Crafts Show at Sandown has certainly confirmed my belief!
So I send out a very big THANK YOU to everyone who took time to stop by and have a chat!
I spent yesterday getting myself straightened out and I’m back to my normal routine as from today. September is a very busy month for me.
I have the Gingham Goose Craft Market at Hayes on Saturday, 12th, lessons on Saturday, 19th, and the Gingham Goose Craft Market at Holwood Farm on Saturday 26th.
More details about these events to follow later.
If that’s not enough to keep me out of mischief, I’m also working for the next two weeks.
I’m also back to my weekly challenges as from today.
I think I know what I’m doing but seeing is believing when I post my blog in the morning.
My photographs today are showing some of the projects we had on display at the Creative Crafts Show that have been made by various other demos but not me.
I particularly like the Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Very Vanilla cards that are in the first and third photographs – ideal masculine colours without being dreary.
The quality of my photographs are rather naff – I hope that word travels the world! – but I also like the Barnyard Babies card in photograph 4, especially the one where the cows are eating daisies.
Tomorrow, I’ll see if I can improve on that photo!
Finally, the only bit a crafting I did yesterday was to put the extra square of Irresistibly Yours card stock on the base of the lantern I’d made in yesterday’s video. If you’ve watched the video, you’ll have seen my boo-boo that needed covering up! LOL!
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
