I have just uploaded today’s video, Snowflakes’ Gift Bag showing one of last week’s challenges. I decided to video how I made this so I could show you how I threaded the Silver Cord Trim with the Tiptop Taupe Dotted Lace Trim. I think it’s a great look and so simple to include in your projects.
The gift bags I posted to my blog last week included a Whisper White one which I said I thought would be better if it was made with the Thick Whisper White Card Stock, as I had managed to crinkle it when I threaded the ribbon and tied the bow.
I decided to test my theory – it worked! – and when I came to threading the ribbon through, I thought it would be nice to share that, too!
Yesterday we were at the Gingham Goose Craft Fair at Holwood Farm. During the last two weeks hubby has been building a frame that fits on my table and holds my “JanBCards” banner.
We arrived at the Farm just 20 minutes before it was due to start! It was all hands to the pump to get everything sorted out and ready in double quick time, which we managed by the skin of our teeth!
We had a little bit of time before the first visitors started ambling in, so hubby erected the frame in next to no time.
Next time he’s going to see about wrapping lights around the poles to make it look very Christmassy!
It turned out to be a really successful day with our sales 25% up on the fair we did two weeks ago.
Surprisingly, given our good sales, it wasn’t particularly busy but the visitors were happy to stop and chat…………and that always makes such a difference!
There was also an exceptional amount of interest shown in my classes with one lady booking herself a space for the October class.
Another lady asked me if I knew where she could buy Stampin’ Up! products! Needless to say I was more than happy to give her a copy of each of our catalogues.
Although I have made about 50 Christmas cards so far this year, I didn’t take any with me for selling, I thought end of September would be too early.
Surprise, surprise, someone actually asked me if I had any! We chatted and I gave him a leaflet for the next craft fair I’ll be doing on 24th October 2015 – I hope he turns up! LOL!
By the time the fair closed at 4 pm we were ready to call it a day. I hope you also had a great Saturday and now have a great Sunday.
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

I signed up for your email blog post and youtube videos, so I don't miss anything. Your work is so beautiful! In your craft show picture can you tell me what the boxes are on the right made with the Embellished Ornament Set? Do you have a tutorial for them? Thanks and everything is lovely.
Hi, Pam. Many thanks for following what I do. I think you're referring to the three boxes: one red with a white centre, one white with a green centre and one with a red centre. They are the Bauble Lanterns that hold battery-operated tea lights. This is the link for the video: https://youtu.be/TwRkXyrjOj0. Happy crafting. JanB.
