2016 – 2018 InColours

Uncategorized

3 May

Hello, Crafters.

As you know, I’m not planning to tease you with lots of the new products that’ll be coming out in the new catalogue, which will launch on 1st June 2016. But I thought you’d at least like to know what the five new In Colours are going to be.

The new names are Dapper Denim (a sort of blue),  Emerald Envy (green) Flirty Flamingo (pink), Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum (lilac). They are all what I call gentle colours, that is, not harsh.  I don’t think that Emerald Envy is a good name for the green although it is a good shade of green!

The first two photographs shows one of the Make & Takes we did at Telford with the new colours. The hearts were punched out from our regular A4 Card Stock. We used the Sweetheart punch and adhered to the sheet with TomBow.

The next splash of colour which looks like an eyebrow – now there’s an idea! – was a stamp from a new stamp set called Painter’s Palette.

The next two splashes of colour have been made with the Marker Pens i.e. the left hand side with the brush end and the lighter colour on the right hand side has been made by the pen end.

The third photograph shows the 2016 – 2018 InColours Designer Series Paper Stack in the five new colours.

Unfortunately, the colour hasn’t printed too well, particularly the Emerald Envy so look at this photograph at the same time as the photograph above.

The colours in the fourth photograph have fared a bit better again except for the Emerald Envy!

The paper featured in this photograph is Envelope Paper.

This will also be available in these same patterns in the 2015 – 2017 InColours.

The final photograph shows the ruffled ribbon that comes in the five new colours.

And I’m pleased to say that the colours in this photograph are very close to the real colours – again, the green is still somewhat questionable!

That’s about it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.
