I hope you’re enjoying your weekend. This morning, I posted my video called Double Twisted Easel Card. This is an amazingly easy fancy fold card to make.
It’s another easy fun fold card that really packs a WOW! I made one card as a trial. Then I made one for my son’s birthday, than another to make notes for the video, then one during the first video and then another during the video retake! LOL!
Photograph 1: the card I made in the video.
Photograph 2: I made this card during the first video but I had to scrap it because I made a boo boo that would have taken so long to fix that I decided it would be a lot easier and a lot quicker just to remake the video! This is Watermelon Wonder and I’ve used a design from the soon-to-be-launched Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Photographs 3 and 4: I made this card for my son’s birthday. The two stamp sets I used are You’re Sublime and Confetti Celebration. Photograph 4 shows how the card folds flat to go in the envelope.
Photograph 5: This is the card I made so I could make notes and records cardstock sizes prior to making the video.
Finally, this card will fit in a normal business envelope, what we call DL here in the UK. Personally, I think it’s a lot nicer to make an envelope using the Envelope Punch Board and our Envelope Paper. As this is a bit of a challenge because of the size, I have made a video showing how to make the right size and deal with the too-tall flaps. I’ll be posting this on Wednesday.
Happy Sunday and until tomorrow, happy crafting.

Hi, Darlene. If you enter: long slim envelopes into the search box on the left, it'll take you to the post where I put the link and you'll see it in the second paragraph. That will take you to my video. Please let me know if you have any problems. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
