On Monday, I shared the thank you card Kim gave us as a make-n-take at the crafty get together she’d organised for Sunday.
I carried on playing with the design on Monday afternoon and finally decided to make a video, called Kim’s Thank You Card, which I uploaded this morning.
If you watch my videos, you know I normally share other cards in the same design at the end, generally in different colours.
Today I’m sharing those other cards here, partly so I can share Kim’s card which she made using products that will be available in the new catalogue which goes live on 1st June 2016 – see photographs 1 – 3.
Kim’s original design didn’t include painting the flowers and, unfortunately, I forgot to photograph the card before I coloured them!
With the Blushing Bride card I made in the video, I put it all together before I painted the flowers to show what this design looks like with unpainted flowers. The colour Kim chose is one of the five new In-Colours and is called Peekaboo Peach.
The stamp set is called Perfectly Wrapped and is designed to go with the Perfectly Wrapped Project Kits – this makes 8 bags and 8 boxes. This stamp set works brilliantly as a stand alone product too!
Photograph 4 – this is the card I shared here on Monday but this time I’ve coloured the flowers. The four stamps sets I’ve used for the next three cards are: Sassy Salutations, Flower Shop, Gorgeous Gunge and You’re So Lovely.
Note: the first and last stamp sets mentioned here are both retiring on 31st May 2016.
Photograph 5 – the only change I made for this card is the colour – I used Mint Macaroon.
Photograph 6 – I changed the colour to Blushing Bride this time.
Although I’ve still used the same stamp set for the flower, I changed to a different flower this time.
Photograph 7 – I chose Marina Mist for my last card. I stamped off the lines stamp before stamping on my card as I thought – quite rightly as it turned out – that the blue would be too dark to go over the black sentiment.
I also changed the flower. I used the large daisy-like flower from the Grateful Bunch Stamp Set. For this flower, I had to fussy cut the mask to cover it before stamping the circle.
The other difference between the first three and the last two cards is that I didn’t add a self-coloured centre to the last two.

That’s about it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
