3D Swaps from Training

Uncategorized

28 Jun

Hello, Crafters.

Today I’m sharing some of the 3D swaps I received at Natalie’s training on Sunday.

Photographs 1-2 Bridget Metcalf:  this is a small Teepee card which measures 3½” from the point of the “foot” to the peak.

This is a brilliant idea which could be used for name place settings for weddings, made to coordinate with the wedding theme and/or stationery.

Bridget was also working on an idea of putting some sweets inside so it could be used as a favour box or a combined name place setting and a favour box.

One way sweets could be inserted in the Teepee is if they’re in a cello bag and tied with a ribbon, the ribbon could be fed through the peak of the Teepee and tied in a bow!

The ingredients Bridget used are:

Cardstock: Pool Party, Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon, and Whisper White
Inks: Pool Party, Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon. There’s also a darker blue which I’m not sure about – it could be Dapper Denim
Stamp Sets: Swirly Bird, Perfectly Wrapped
Punch: 2″ Circle, Duet Banner
Other: Window Sheet, Whisper White Baker’s Twine

Photograph 3 Rebecca Willmore: Rebecca always comes up with  great ideas for hers swaps and Sunday was no exception!

One of our new stamp sets includes flamingoes and they seem to be very popular at the moment everywhere you go!

Rebecca painted some of our vellum cardstock in blue in such a way to resemble ripples on  water.

Then she created some reeds using which she stamped tone on tone and punched a flower as a base.

She finished off with a flamingo drink stirrer!

Such a brilliant idea!

The ingredients Rebecca used are:

Cardstock: Emerald Envy, Vellum
Inks: Marina Mist (I think!), Emerald Envy
Stamp Set: Timeless Textures
Punch: Flower Medallion
Other: Fringe Scissors

Photograph 4-5 Charry Wijers: This is a typically Dutch favour box which has some kind of sweets inside – I haven’t opened the box yet!

The ingredients Charry used are:

Cardstock: Whisper White
DSP: Playful Palette DSP Stack
Inks: Emerald Envy, Basic Black Archival
Stamp Sets: Painter’s Palette, Bunch of Blossoms
Punch: 1″ Circle
Other: Emerald Envy Baker’s Twine, Rhinestone

Photograph 6 Pauline Barnfather – Pauline is a dab hand at creating origami projects.

I was delighted to find a Cadbury’s mini chocolate Easter Egg inside when I forced myself to open the box!

I always feel guilty about opening boxes like this after all the work the creator has gone to making it – but needs must!

The ingredients Pauline used are:

Cardstock: Whisper White
DSP: Peekaboo Peach from the 2016 – 2018 InColour Designer Series Paper Stack.
Inks: Peakaboo Peach
Stampset: Birthday Blooms
Punch: Festive Flower Builder
Other: Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon

If you have any questions about any of these projects, please leave a note in the comments box below. ☺

Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.
