Dazzling Diamonds Pine Bough Video

Uncategorized

25 Sep

Hello, Crafters.

This morning, we’re taking Jack and Molly to see our dear friend Liz.

They’ve met her before so for them, they’re also visiting a dear friend.

This morning, I posted my video which shows how I made the Dazzling Diamonds Pine Bough card I shared here on Friday.

I decided to use our Shimmery White Cardstock for the video as it’s a more creamy colour than our basic Whisper White Cardstock.

In my mind’s eye I could see the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper blending in with the Shimmery White a lot more easily – and I was correct.

Even with the poor quality of these photographs, I think you can get the gist of what I’m saying in photograph 4.

This card is such an amazingly quick and easy one to make.

I was truly thrilled when Stampin’ Up! first brought in the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

Although I’d never heard of Wink of Stella before that, I certainly made up for lost time once I bought on!

It reached the point where hubby wouldn’t stand still in case I gave him the once over with my Wink of Stella! LOL!

Over the last couple of days I’ve been having a little bit of a re-organistion in my studio.

I’ve always photocopied the front of my stamp sets and filed them in clear display wallets.

I’ve found this to be the quickest and easiest way to find , say a bow stamp, or a particular sentiment, e.g. a retirement.

However, I’ve never used this idea for my dies, or my embossing folders, until now!

I have so many dies that I was getting somewhat frustrated every time I had to look for what I needed. Now it’s a breeze!

This isn’t such an issue with Embossing Folders because I don’t have anywhere near as many, but there in a folder now anyway!

I have also made some progress with die cutting sets of dies and adhering them to the back of the cardboard that the magnet is attached to!

Slowly, slowly, I’ll get them all done! Well, that’s about it for today. Happy Sunday. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

This is, without a doubt, one of the most stunningly beautiful Christmas cards I have seen made this year. I will be definitely be doing several of these myself. Thank you for another wonderful video tutorial … this is so doable! Gorgeous!!!!

Hi, Geraldine. This is amazingly easy to make and it wouldn't take too long to make several of them. Now there's a thought, I think I'd better check my stock of Glimmer Paper! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

This is a VERY lovely card. I would never have thought to add glue and glitter to the embossing and it makes it look stunning. Thank you so much!

Hi, Cherie. You're the second person who has mentioned my organisation this week! An idea I'm working on is doing a photo shoot, say once a week, showing different aspects of my craft room, including all-round photographs so you can see how it all fits together. I feel I could show and explain a lot more than this way, rather than a video. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
