Irresistibly Floral Speccialty DSP

Uncategorized

23 Mar

Hello, Crafters.

Yesterday
I had great time playing with the Irresistibly Floral Designer Series
(DSP).

Eventually I ran out of time, and inspiration, so I don’t have a completed
project, but I wanted to share my results so far!

I’ve
made two card bases – photographs 1 & 3 – and I think I’ll use them to focus on a special
sentiment or saying.

It’s very possible that I may change my mind
before then!

If you have an idea, I’d be very interested in hearing it!

The
Irresistibly Floral DSP comes as 12″ x 12″ lightweight white cardstock
(CS), and each sheet is covered with white embossed patterns.

The pack comes with 12 sheets,
with 2 sheets in each of six different designs.

Three of the designs are
floral and the other three include stripes, diagonal lines, and circles.

I
used one of our sponge brayers and covered a complete sheet using Rose
Red Ink – see photographs 5 & 6.

My first idea
was to cut the corresponding flowers from the second sheet and adhere
them onto of the sponged flowers.

This looked awful so I moved online pharmacy xanax cheap onto plan
B!

This was far more successful – see
photographs 3 & 4.

I used a white gel pen and coloured
the flowers using straight lines rather than trying to colour as a solid
colour.

Having seen what the white cut flowers looked like in Plan A, I
didn’t think that would be a particularly good idea.

As soon as I
finished this off by painting the centres of the flowers using my Gold
Wink of Stella Glitter Pen, I knew I’d use this as a base for a card.

At
the same time it made me think of plan C!

I cut another top layer and
painted the flowers using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

This
changed the colour of the flower slightly and obviously made it very
glittery!

I finished the sheet by painting the centres of the flowers as before.

Unfortunately, photographs don’t really do justice to these card bases but I’m sure you get the idea!

I don’t have a favourite – photographs 1 & 3 – do you?

Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

One and three shout special birthday or anniversary, the paper turned out stunning, can't wait to see what you end up doing with them

Hi, Kaye. I like the idea of a number birthday card, because they won't cover too much of the background! Thanks for the idea! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

I love photo # 1 with the wink of Stella the best, but also photos # 5 & # 6 are real pretty too with just the color on it. These pages look like a lot of fun!

Love both the 1st and last photographs and can't imagine Wink of Stella not improving just about anything you touch with it. I'm wondering how a layer of ribbon might look against it along with your sentiment or focal image layer. Gorgeous DSP by the way … can hardly wait to see what you do with it! Looks like you've had a lot of fun in the meantime. TFS
