Poppin Box Tutorial

Uncategorized

14 Mar

Hello, Crafters.

It’s just a short blog
today about tomorrow’s video which is the Poppin Box Tutorial video. I’d like
to know how you feel about long tutorial videos because this is my longest one
yet – 1hr 3 mins!

It’s a long video
because it’s a 2 projects-in-1 – there are the
instructions for the actual Poppin Box and also the Box it sits in. When I
started the video, I wasn’t sure whether to do two separate videos, or one long
one.

If you watch my videos,
which way would you prefer a project like this to be made:-

a). two smaller videos
to watch each one as you choose

or

b). one longer video so
you see it all in one go?

I have posted a couple
of photographs here to show you the Poppin Box I made in the video.

Today, I’m meeting a
friend I haven’t seen for several years. She lives in Spain and is en-route to
India, spending one day in my nearest large town. We’re going to spend time
catching up and shopping at the same time! I’m so pleased women can multi-task!
LOL.

Until tomorrow, happy
crafting.

JanB.

Good morning Jan, I would prefer two shorter videos. Sometimes it is hard to find time to watch hour long videos. Either way I will watch your videos—Love them!!!

I very much enjoy watching your videos, so one hour would not bother me one bit. This probably doesn't help answer your question, but either way would be absolutely fine with me!

I love your projects and videos. I prefer 2 videos as it is too time consuming to watch 1 long one all at once. Thanks for asking!

First of all thank you for all of your blogs and helps. I love your site and watch it almost every day. I would prefer the long version. That way if you have time you can see it all at once and if not you can pause it and return when convenient. Thanks again for sharing your time, talent and wonderful ideas.

Hi, Kaye. Bless you. Fortunately I have a very comfortable chair in my studio, so sitting making videos doesn't cause my back any problems. I only ever make one at a time! I've noted your feedback – many thanks. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

Hi Jan, Either way you want to do it is fine. If a video is to long for me I watch for as long as I can and simply shut it off. One good thing about YouTube is that when you go back to finish the video (even if it is several days later) it simply starts up where you left off. So there's no trying to remember where you finished.

Hi Jan, I love your videos and I have been very naughty to have not written comments to say how much I do enjoy your videos. You are so precise with your instructions. I think that you should just do what is right for you, often it is easier to to keep going whilst you are on a roll, sometimes stopping can make the process harder for you to restart. Plus dont forget there is a pause button on the videos and it isnt too hard to scribble down the time when the video is paused and resume it at a more convenient time. It is your video, do as you want as I truly appreciate all what you do.
