Window Box Video

Uncategorized

8 Mar

Hello, Crafters.

By
popular demand, the Window Box video is here!

I’ve made four in
different colour combos to see what the difference looks like!

I love the Whisper White box, but the Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White box is my absolute favourite!

I have used the following colours to give you an idea what an all-white box looks like, as well a one-colour box, a white box with coloured Glimmer Paper and a coloured box with white Glimmer Paper.

I have also included some photographs of all the boxes together for easy comparison!

The cardstock (CS) I used for each box is as follows:-

Photograph 1 – Shimmery White CS and Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper

Photograph 2 – Shimmery White CS and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

Photograph 3 –  Mint Macaroon CS and Mint Macaroon Glimmer Paper

Photograph 4 – Tip Top Taupe CS and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

This is the first box I made, and I didn’t think about attaching a “handle” to open the box with!

On the other three boxes I added a very discreet piece of ribbon that will help to gently lift the lid.

Personally, I think the box looks “finished” now it has a handle!

Please note that the Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaroon Glimmer Papers are only avalable during Sale-a-bration (SAB).

I added an Iced Rhinestone to the lid of the Mint Macaroon Box, but it really didn’t do anything positive for its appearance.

I very carefully removed the Rhinestone and replaced it with one of the Metal Rimmed Pearls.

Somebody has suggested that little feet could be added to the base of the box, which I think is a great idea.

I wanted to give it a try but I can’t find my box of large beads!

This is a great set of dies, and is available as a bundle with a co-ordinating stamp set.

I
haven’t moved past the stage of using the dies on their own yet.

But
like all things Stampin’ Up! the stamp set has some brilliant design
features to it!

That’s it from me today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

Jan, I love the Mint Macaron box! Such a pretty colour. I agree about putting the little feet under the box….that would look so nice! Wonderful to see them all together like this. Great work (play!) on your part!

Hi, Joeytipping. I'll be sad when Mint Macaroon retires – it's such a gorgeous colour! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

Hi, Pearl. This is using just one of the side panels and one top panel. There are two other different side panels and two more different top panels. And that's without even thinking about using the stamp set. The amount of variations is absolutely amazing! ☺ And yes, very happy crafting! ☺ JanB.
