Yesterday
I had the pleasure of having my granddaughter working with me. ☺
Molly’s brother Jack found the prospect of spending longer in bed more attractive
than earning himself some holiday money! LOL!
Molly
worked non-stop, and completed a job that I thought would have taken a
lot longer!
The she started another job, and was about a quarter of the way
through it by the time Mum came to pick her up!
She’s coming back to work on Monday!
As
Molly was working her way through these tasks, I was able to get on
with creating a project for Sunday’s video, making today’s card,
answering the phone, dealing with emails, etc! Big thanlks to Molly! ☺
I
started today’s card with a Whisper White Cardstock (CS) card base, a
layer of Powder Pink CS and a top layer of Whisper White CS.
I also
added identical top two layers inside the card.
I took a strip of the Fresh
Florals Designer Series Paper (DSP) Stack in Powder Pink, that was
narrower than the top Whisper White layer but still the same height.
Then I punched two strips of Powder Pink CS using the Decorative Ribbon
Border Punch, which I adhered down either side of the DSP, and then onto
the card front.
I took a Delicate White Doilie, and using a Dauber
coloured it all over using Powder Pink Ink.
I die cut a Whisper White CS
medallion, and then cut it away from the Whisper White CS using the
largest straight cut circle die in the Layering Circles Framelits, die
no. 8.
Using my Dust Buddy, I wiped over a piece of Vellum CS to
remove any static or finger marks, and then stamped the Happy Birthday
sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set in Versamark.
After
sprinkling Silver Embossing Powder all over it, I heat set it using my
Heat Tool.
I allowed it a few seconds to cool down and then punched it
out using the Starburst Punch.
Using Tombow and Glue Dots, I adhered
these three layers together, and then onto the card front.
I folded a
piece of Powder Pink 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon in half, and adhered to the
card front with a Glue Dot, and then I added a Glue Dot inside the
ribbon fold.
I folded a small bow in a strip of 1/8″ Siver Ribbon, and
adhered it over a folded strip of Silver Mini Sequin Trim.
To finish
the front of the card I adhered three silver sequins randomly around the ribbon tails.
To finish the
inside of the card, I added one Powder Pink and two Whisper White CS die
cuts using different dies from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits.
Our
landline was finally fixed today – it’s been down for seven days! YAY! Thank you BT!
That’s about it for today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

Very pretty indeed. I believe this is the 1st time I've really seen the new lace edge punch used and it's lovely. Like how all of the elements have come together on this card, Jan — the different uses for the Easter Palace medallion dies, etc. — … Lovely!!
Hi, Geraldine. I'm so, so pleased to have a border punch again! And I think this one is especially pretty! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Fab-U-lous card, it's simply gorgeous!!! x
Many thanks, Annette. ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
