We arrived in Thailand yesterday (Sunday) morning at 7.30am after a very pleasant, uneventful journey.
The transfer from the airport to the resort took about an hour, and then we had to wait until 2pm to have access to our room.
It was very frustrating see all the other guests being given their room keys, but not us.
There was one other couple that had to wait, too.
But when we eventually made it into our room, boy, was it worth the wait!
While we were waiting for our room, we had a walk around the huge resort to get our bearings.
When our room was ready, we saw on the outside of the door there was a plaque with my name on it.
Once inside, I had a look around before my eyes spied a beautiful basket of fruit sitting on the coffee table!
After checking out the wetroom, the bathrom, closets and wardrobes, I went out onto the balcony.
It had a sofa, table and two chairs.
Everything about our room, inside and out, is beautiful!
Last night we went to one of the resort’s resuarants and met up with the UK crowd as well as a lot of other demos.
I’ve shared some photographs here and have posted more on the Photo Gallery Page.
That’s it for now. Until tomorrow, happy crafting!

Hi, Pearl. Many thanks. We're having a great time with a different excursion every day because we're determined to make the most of this trip! I have to say, we're both looking forward to having just a lazy day, which will probably be Saturday when most people fly home! ☺ Happy crafting. JanB
