Hello, Crafters.
Yesterday I said I was going to make another card the same style as
the Tropical Escape Diamond-Shaped Florals but with a masculine
theme. Out went the pink and the flowers, and in came the black
and white and the birds!
Although I’m happy with my card, it isn’t what I consider to be masculine.
Unfortunately I can’t ask you what you think, as Blogger hasn’t come
up with a fix for viewers not being able to leave comments! Grrr!!
The details of today’s card are more or less the same as yesterday, but
I’ll just go over what details I’ve changed! The black and white DSP
is from the same Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper (DSP)
that I used for the floral card.
I’d noticed four black and white designs when I was sorting through
the DSP pack for my pink version of my card. I decided then they
would be great for a masculine card, and it could have worked if I’d
changed the images too! The card base is Shaded Spruce
Cardstock (CS) and the DSP I used for the top layer is in Shaded
Spruce and Granny Apple Green.
I stamped the branches the same as the previous day except I did
the outline in Shaded Spruce Ink. It was part of my plan to use the
bird which is from the Painted Glass Stamp Set, but for some
reason I had it in my mind that it was a solid stamp. As you can see,
it’s far from solid, so I coloured it wth Marker Pens!
I decorated the inside of my card the same as the floral card,
As the comment function isn’t working at the moment, please feel free
to email me if you really do want to make comments, not just on today’s
blog, but any day! janb@janbcards.com
That’s it from me today. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

What a shame that your blog comments are not working Jan, this is another great card but as you say not quite as masculine as you wanted initially. :O)
