It’s extremely rare that I make a card without putting a sentiment on it! I hadn’t planned it to be like this but I decided that as I have used the Ho Ho Ho stamp, and the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper (DSP), the card didn’t need any more sentiments. The Ho Ho Ho stamp I used as a background stamp on the top Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (CS) layer is from the Candy Cane Season Stamp Set. The script design I used for the pennant is from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper(DSP).Although it doesn’t show in the photographs, I painted over the holly berries with the Fine Tip Glue Pen! Both the bow and the holly are two-step stamps from the Candy Cane Season, and were very easy to line up. The colour is Garden Green which gives the card a “lift” from what it would have looked like had I kept with Cherry Cobbler all the way through! The stamp set is on offer as a bundle with a co-ordinating punch (see page 20), which punches out the stocking and the bow. I fussy cut the holly which was very quick and easy to do!I decorated the inside of the card with a layer of Very Vanilla CS, and I added another Candy Cane and a bow in the bottom right-hand corner. To finish the front of the card I first added three Rhinestones randomly around the Candy Cane, but I wasn’t happy with that, and I moved them to the top right hand corner in a vertical line. I thought this looked so much better. I was going to add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter, but I thought better of it and decided to leave well alone!
