Hello, Crafters.
I hope you’re enjoying a very relaxing weekend. Today’s video features a card I shared here last week, called Tailored Tag Punch Christmas Card. One of my subscribers asked if I’d make a video showing how it’s done. I agreed because I felt I could make it a HOW TO video demonstrating how to use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets.
I don’t know why, but for the two cards I made yesterday, the backing came off adhesive sheets as I was removing the die cuts from the dies. I decided to carry on and demonstrate how to deal with it. The card I made immediately before videoing, is the Crumb Cake card. The Designer Series Paper (DSP) I used is the All is Bright . The design with the gold and sparkly baubles would be great for a wedding card – it really is a stunning design!
I chose Tranquil Tide as my colour scheme with the gorgeous Joyous Noel DSP for the card I made in the video . The Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake cards looked quite “plain” when the were finished and really lent themselves to be embellished with the Festive Farmhouse Elements. This wasn’t the case with the Tranquil Tide card. Two of the three designs I chose for this card were busy designs, which left the card not needing additional embellishments.
I normally prefer more simple cards, but with these three, I definitely prefer the Tranquil Tide one! The exception to the rule! All three cards have been decorated inside with some Washi Tape from the Suite Season Specialty Washi Tape. This pack of tape had three rolls that were absolutely ideal for these three cards – another example of excellent co-ordination by Stampin’ Up!
That’s it from me today. I hope you have a very blessed Sunday. Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
