Hello, Crafters.
Just a quick reminder about the Stampin’ Up! World Card Making Day Sale which is only on until 7th. October 2018. As well as kits and stamp sets, there are also basics like Dimensionals, Tear & Tape and packs of 20 Notecards & Envelopes. You can check out the full link by clicking this link.
Today’s video show how to make this fun Christmas card which depicts two elves photo-bombing Father Christmas. Two or three years ago I made a very similar card but I think it was with rabbits! I used the Signs of Santa Stamp Set and co-ordinating Santa’s Signpost Framelits Dies which are offered as a bundle, and thereby saving 10% off the price (page 19 in the Christmas Catalogue). At first, I couldn’t decide which adhesive to use for the Dazzling Diamonds, so I conducted three tests before I started videoing. I tested the Fine Tip Glue Pen, Tombow, and Tombow after I had “blotted” the glue on some scrap paper to make it spread out evenly. The Fine Tip Glue won hands down. There were three reasons that made this the most effective: the glue is so easy to get exactly where it’s needed; it’s very easy to go over areas that have been missed; and it’s easy to remove glitter that has gone where it shouldn’t. I didn’t get as far as checking drying times, but it was only a matter of minutes with the Fine Tip Glue.
This really is a fun card and I hope you give it a try. That’s it from me today; until tomorrow, happy crafting.
