Hello, Crafters.
Yesterday’s drive up to Birmingham was the best ever! We had just started packing everything in the car when Amanda arrived – she travelled up with us. We hit the road several minutes earlier than planned; I think this was a first! LOL! The sun was shining, there wasn’t much traffic around, and the company was excellent. We arrived in Birmingham with a couple of hours to spare before we needed to be at the airport to collect Audrey, so we stopped at one of the motorway services for bite to eat, cup of tea and a chat! We still had twenty-six miles to go, so we didn’t hang around too long before we set off to get Audrey. We were still too early so parked up on a new Business Park and killed some more time. Everything was in our favour and we arrived in the airport car park just as Audrey came out of arrivals!
We drove to the hotel, where we found Denise already waiting for us. A couple of hours later, as hubby was leaving the hotel to collect Maire, Lilian and Rosslyn from the railway station, he bumped into Karen who had driven up by herself. When everybody had arrived, we went out for a quick bite to eat – except Karen who went to her room, showered and had an early night! We arranged to meet up downstairs this morning at 9:15 am so we can all go off to another hotel where I’ve booked a room for our Craft Day!
Without a doubt, I have the best team of Stampin’ Up! demos – my ladies really are Simply the Best! We have all become really good frends and to be able to come away together like this is a real blessing! Obviously there was only one name I could choose for my team and that is Super Stars! I’m hoping they’ll be even more of my team attending next year! ☺
If this is your idea of fun, and you would like to be a Super Star, I’d love to have you in my team! Please email me if you’d like to know more: janb@janbcards.com. I have plenty of room in my team for more Super Stars! That’s about it from me today. Tomorrow I will share the projects we make during our Craft Day today! In the meantime, happy crafting!
JanB.
