Hello, Crafters.
I’m another step closer in my preparations for the OnStage Convention at the weekend! Yesterday, after I’d finished the video for today, I worked on the team swaps. They are all done now, so today I will finish off designing, and then do the prepping, for the projects we’ll be making during our craft day on Friday!
The stamp set, Happiness Surounds, and the Snowfall Thinlits Dies are both products available in the Snowflake Showcase Promotion from Stampin’ Up! during November! This is the second of two stamp sets available, but whereas the first set is Christmas orientated, this stamp set is definitely suitable for all year.
Before I made the video, I made the second card, but I used Petal Pink instead. For some reason I stamped and die cut seven small flowers, so I decided to put the left-over flower above the big flower in the frame. I had thought about doing this the previous day when I made the first card, but had decided against it! Now that I’ve seen what it looks like, I prefer the card without it!
For the video I chose to use Soft Sea Foam for my colour scheme. I had toyed with the idea of using a bright colour instead of staying with the subtles. Berry Burst would have been my colour choice, but I decided that the idea of cascading flowers was soft, and therefore sticking with soft colours was correct.
To decorate the inside of the card, I added one of the big flowers with a smaller flower adhered in the centre. I didn’t use a Dimensional nor Basic Pearl on the flower as it’s inside, but it still looks lovely. My favourite out of the three colours has to be Balmy Blue. I say that because I love how dark the little branches stamped on the inside of the large flower are.
That’s it from me today. I’m about to start working on the craft day projects, which I’ll share with you on Saturdau, time permitting! Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.

hello Jan b.
I always enjoy your videos. I am not able to tell you that on you-tube because I always get thrown out when I try to comment on anyone’s video. it is strange because I have a preferred list and everything1 I usually don’t mind so much. it keeps me quiet.
I am writing you now because you said you enjoyed the coordinations paper. there is a shop in California where the owner started having that paper made because co-ordinations stopped making it.
her shop is Scrapbooking Made Simple. she has a brick and mortar store, an online store and she posts weekly classes on you tube. all of the above share the same name Scrapbooking Made Simple. her name is Stacy.
I am only a customer of hers hundreds of miles away, so I don’t know anything about how things go there. I have heard her say that she ships all over the world.
I hope this helps Sandi
Hi, Sandi. I’m sorry you have problems leaving comments on YouTube! Is it only on my channel, or other channels as well? I’ve heard of Scrapbooking Made Simple because she makes videos! I really appreciate you letting me know I can get Co-ordinations Paper from this lady. I’m not planning on buying any at this time, but I will keep a note that this is where I can get it if I change my mind. Many thanks for your feedback, it’s greatly appreciated. Happy crafting, JanB. xx
