Hello, Crafters.
I hope you’ve enjoyed a very relaxing weekend, and are ready to start a new week feeling refreshed. Today, hubby goes back to work after having two weeks at home, using up a lot of annual leave he still has for 2018! Today’s card is the second card in less than a week that I have CASE’d from somebody in my team!
Amanda made a card in Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (CS), and die cut the circle from a layer of Old Olive CS, using the Detailed Baubles Framelits Dies. She stamped a fern all over the area of the card base that she knew would be exposed by the circle. Then she die cut four corners, in Mossy Meadow CS, using the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies. It really is a WOW card!
To make my card I changed the colour to Real Red, and used some die cut snowflakes from the Snowfall Thinlits Dies. I found them already die cut, left overs from a previous project! The wine glass charm I used is one I’d made at our craft day when we were in Birminham, Friday week ago. I introduced some Call Me Clover Green by adding a bow, and also stamping the sentiment – which is from the Candy Cane Season Stamp Set.
To support the charm, I used invisible thread, which I threaded through the decorative holes in the die cut circle. As the knots I tied were nowhere near secure, I used my glue gun to make sure they stayed put! I also adhered my bow on top of the hot glue to make sure that doesn’t go walk abouts either! I added a layer of Whisper White CS inside my card and added a decorative strip I’d die cut some time ago using a die from the Flourish Thinlits Dies.
That’s about it for today. I shall look forward to being back with you tomorrow, and in the meantime, happy crafting!
