Hello, Crafters.
Start of a new month and the start of new promotions – one from Stampin’ Up! and one from me. The promotion I’m running is a Buy One, Get One Free offer for the whole of the month of November. When I ran this offer in August, it was very well received, but it was only for a week, so it felt no sooner had it started, then it had finished! The November offer is open to everyone who shops in my online shop during November 2018 – www.janbcards.stampinup.net. I’ve put all the details how it works on Happening Now – Promotions page; click here
Yesterday, I was busy putting all the products available free on the Promotions page. They are mainly stamp sets, but there are also punches, ribbons, Designer Series Papers, and other products. Altogether there are over 230 products available as free! Please check out the Promotions page before placing your order! (Unfortunately, Stampin’ Up! rules only allow me to sell to crafters who live in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Austria – I’m sorry!)
The Stampin’ Up! Promotion is for a limited edition stamp and die set, that also has on offer White Velvet Paper, and Snowflake Trinkets. The suite is called Snowflake Showcase, and is available during November only, while stocks last. If you order from me, you’ll also be entitled to free retired products! There are two stamp sets available in this suite; one is Snow is Glistening, and the other one is Happiness Surrounds. Please see the short video below, which explains everything about this suite!
The second stamp set will be useful all year round. I have bought this suite, but I haven’t had time to play with it yet! The White Velvet Sheets, are very soft, just like flock. In the set of Snowfall Thinlits Dies there are a total of 36 dies, mainly various designs and sizes of snowflakes but also includes a beautiful flourish die with snowflakes – it’s so beautiful, see below!
I did manage to grab a little bit of time in my studio yesterday for crafting! I used the All Is Bright Designer Series Paper, and selected three images I wanted to feature in the white column. I wanted a sentiment that was quite big, but not so big that it would overshadow the three images. This one from the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set fitted the bill brilliantly! I die cut it using the oblong dies in the Frosted Bouquet Framelits – the size was absolutely ideal. I added the little bits of fern to break up so much red! The Shaded Spuce panel and the right hand side of the Whisper White layer were dry embossed using one of the Petal Pair Embossing Folders. I’m happy with how my card turned out, but I’m disappointed with the inside. I think the branches look like like seedlings than small branches!
That’s about it from me today. I’m off to the hairdressers this morning, and this evening Stampin’ Up! are announcing the top worldwide performers this live this evening. This normally happens at OnStage, but they are trying something different this time. I’ll tell you about it tomorrow! Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
