Santa’s Trousers Treat Box Video

Uncategorized

21 Nov

Hello, Crafters.

I CASE’d today’s project from Lilian, who’s in my team, who gave hubby one of these as part of the team swap when we were at OnStage recently. When we planned our team swap, some of my team made extras so they could give to hubby. He was really bowled over with the gifts he received! I asked Lilian if she minded if I CASE’d her treat box, and she said she’d found the idea on YouTube by Sally Stampers, and when I watched Sally’s video, she said she found the idea on Pinterest, so I don’t know who had the original idea.

It’s an amazingly quick and easy project to make, and ideal for Thank You gifts, table favours, and craft shows. Lilian had packed an amazing amount of sorted seets in her treat box and I put four packets of Biscoff Lotus biscuits in each treat box. This project is exactly what it looks like, that is two boxes adhered together; the overall size is approximately 1.5″ x 3″ x 3″.

Stampin’ Up! are promoting an Online Extravaganza Sale which will run between 23rd – 28th November 2018. We have been told that nearly everything in the Annual Catalogue will be reduced by 10% over the six days. The promotion is in three parts, each part lasting two days:-

ANNUAL CATALOGUE PRODUCTS
Paper and embellishments 23–24 November
Stamps and kits 25–26 November
Tools* and ink 27–28 November
*Not including Big Shot and Stamparatus. There is a list of other products that are NOT included, which can be viewed here.
Please check your wishlist, as now will be a great time to buy!
In the new Spring/Summer Catalogue Stampin’ Up! are introducing NEW Cling Stamps, and they are stopping wood mount stamps! The new cling stamps are the same as the previous clear mount stamps, but now with super duper sticky pictures to be adhered on the back of the stamps. The new labels will stick to our blocks like never before. If you save the “negative” part of the sheet of labels, it can be used to hold the old-style labels on to the “old” clear mount stamps, and they will then stick to our blocks like never before. The way this works on older stamps:-
1). Adhere picture to back of stamp.
2). Lay stamp with picture facing down on “negative” sheet, making sure it covers most of the stamp.
3. Draw round stamp, and cut out.
4), Adhere new “negative” label on top of old pictutre!
5). This stamp will now adhere to your stamp block like never before! I hope you find this helpful!
Finally, our third-party logistics provider recently experienced system hardware complications that forced them to stop shipping products for a period of time. They are now back online and working hard to catch up. They are working extra hours and at the weekend to make up for lost time. Our warehouse has also been working long hours in an effort to catch up and will continue to work into the night and on weekends until shipping is back to normal. However, shipping times will not be back to normal by 23 November as we initially hoped. And with the increased sales we will likely see during Online Extravaganza, shipping times may not be back to normal for up to two weeks. Stampin’ Up! is asking us to share this information with you, our customers, so you know that your orders placed in the next couple of weeks, will probably take longer than normal to arrive. to expect when placing orders in the coming days. SU apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. I appreciate your patience while we go through this difficult time, and if you’re one of my customers, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns. If you’re not one of my customers, please contact your Su demonstrator. Many thanks to you all.
That’s about it from me today, and I look forward to being back with you tomorrow. In the meantime, happy crafting.
JanB. xx

Bonne fabrication, JanB. xx

So much fun! I love these! I’m doing an advent calendar for two of my grandchildren who live close to me, because I don’t have to mail. This is perfect to deliver their present for that day in. I absolutely love these. Change colors of cardstock and ribbons and use for any occasions you want! Again, Thank you so much for sharing! Thank maybe add leaves as feathers and make from Soft Suede CS and make for Thanksgiving table?
