Two more Make-n-Takes

Uncategorized

15 Nov

Hello, Crafters.

I’ve finally finished making my October customer thank you gifts and thank you cards. I have also packaged them all ready for the post tomorrow! I’ll share them with you in a couple of days time so I don’t spoil the surprises for my customers! I’ve also had a bit of a tidy up, and found the other two make-n-takes from the weekend! I knew they’d turn up sooner or later!

The first card has been made using the gorgeous Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. The pack includes 10 Night of Navy card bases that measure 6″ x 4″, with matching white envelopes with a blue and white stripes on the inside flap. These envelopes are the same excellent quality as our regular envelopes. The pack also includes 10 smaller cards that measure 4″ x 3″ with co-ordinating envelopes. As I have done previously, I’ve included a copy of the flyer which shows what the card should look like! I made some changes because I thought the flyer card was too busy!

The second card was made using one of our tall, slim note cards. At first I thought the sentiment had been stamped with the Stamparatus, but on a closer look, I could see it hadn’t. The stamp set used is the Amazing Life Stamp Set which we found in the tote bags we were given on Saturday. I stamped the sentiment in Smokey Slate Ink, and managed to keep each one more or less straight. I also used Smokey Slate Ink for the birthday cake, which I coloured in using my Blushing Bride Marker Pen. I used Crushed Curry for the candle and the flame. The three dots have been stamped in Blushing Bride Ink, and the Basic Pearls are from the Annual Catalogue. I like this card and I think it would look lovely if made as a full sized card.

I didn’t have any of the Old Olive Linen Thread to wrap around my circle, so I used some Stampin’ Up! pink Baker’s Twine I found in the drawer! I hope you’ve enjoyed sharing these make-n-takes with me. That’s about it for today, and I look forward to being back with you tomorrow! In the meantime, happy crafting.

JanB. xx
