Hello, Crafters.
Recently I received an email from a crafter, asking if I could make a video showing how to make a double-tunnel card. Always happy to accept a challenge, I searched YouTube, and found just one tutorial which was by Jennifer McQuire. There possibly are other videos on YouTube, but I couldn’t find any others under this name. It goes without saying that Jennifer’s card worked brilliantly.
I do admit that I gave the stop – start button a good work out, but I succeeded in the end. Firstly, I’d like to thank Jennifer for her very professional video. I’d also like to thank to Yvonne Pree who was the crafter who came up with the Santa’s Workshop card, (which can be seen here from www.preedesignscards.blogspot.com), which was seen by Joanie who emailed me requesting a video.
I had two hurdles to get over before I was happy with my card. The first problem was that the card doesn’t open all the way, and I assumed it did! At a guess I’d say it opens about 120°. My first two cards I spoiled because I made them open flat which wasn’t a good idea! The other hurdle I had was changing the measurements to UK sizing. All in all it took me four attempts before I finally succeeded in getting all the measurements, score lines etc. correct.
I’m so pleased I persevered as this is a fabulous style of card. I loved Yvonne Pree’s Santa’s Workshop design, but if I’m CASEing another crafter’s project, and assuming the actual design of the project isn’t what I’m CASE’ing, I do try and come up with a different design. I achieved that with today’s video, but it mean’t I used a total of three stamp sets, and six sets of dies!!
I hope you like today’s project and give it a go. I found it a very pleasing card to work on. I hope you do to. That’s about it from me today. I wish you a very blessed Sunday, and until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB. xx

Hello, I watch your videos in France, I do not understand you, do not speak the American, could you note your measures either on your video, or on your blog, for an ease to follow your videos and allow me to redo your cards. Thank you for your work and good day in Paris. Impossible via France to write to you via the contact. Translated by Google
Hi, Veronique. All the measurements are in the box below the video. Depending on what device you’re watching the video on, you either need to click on SHOW MORE which is below the writing on the left-hand side; or the second black down arrow on the right-hand side. Happy crafting, JanB. xx
