Hello, Crafters.
I hope the weather brightens up for the weekend! Yesterday it was blowing a gale, and raining. I was pleased to get home after the hairdresser so I could re-do my hair! I looked as if I had been pulled through a hedge backwards! LOL! After I’d sorted myself out, had a cup of tea, which was followed very quickly by lunch, and another cup of tea, I was ready to start crafting! I had two different kinds of Customer Thank You Cards to make. The first ones were for my customers who had shopped online with me during January, 2019. I can’t say anything about those cards until my customers have received them!
The second type of Customer Thank You Cards I need to make are for my customer who regularly buys cards from me. She had emailed me and told me what type of cards she wanted to buy, and how many. Mrs. D. always leaves it to me to choose the cards. Her order this time included four Thank You cards. As I don’t have any ready prepared, I decided to make one or two and share them with you today.
Yesterday one of the ladies in my team of Super Stars, Karen J., shared a card she had made using ths Sale-a-bration (SAB) Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (DSP). It was Karen’s design that inspired my first card! I decided to use Grapefruit Grove as my main colour, which meant I could use the Grapefruit Grove Foil to die cut the two words i.e THANKS YOU! These words are from the Well Written Framelits Dies. That isn’t a typo, there is an S on THANKS. I didn’t want it there so I cut it off. Next I mounted the two words to an oval die cut.
The second card I made used some Tranquil Textures DSP, and I combined it with Tranquil Tide DSP. I stamped the Thank You and the little cluster of flowers, using Stazon Jet Black Ink. Both stamps are from the Hostess Stamp Set called Hand Delivered. I painted the flowers in Fresh Fig and the leaves in Tranquil Tide, using Stampin’ Write Marker Pens. I stamped a butterfly from the Butterfly Gala Butterfly Stamp Set, using Stazon Jet Black Ink.
It was punched out using the Butterfly Duet Punch, and coloured in using Balmy Blue, Mint Macaroon and Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker Pens. I decorated the butterfly’s body using the Artisan coloured pearls. I also added some yellow ones to the centre f the Fresh Fig Flowers! I decorated the inside of the card by stamping three sets of the flowers and leaves.
All in all, I had a great day crafting yesterday! It certainly didn’t take me long to forget how awful the weather outside was! That’s about it from me today. I hope you have a simply super Saturday, and I’ll be back with you tomorrow with a fancy fold card video! In the meantime, happy crafting.

I just finished looking at your customer thank you cards. I would never have thought to put those colors and designer series paper’s together. I love looking at your posts and videos to get new ideas and possible new techniques. I really do appreciate all you do and share.
Hi, Cathy. I’m really pleased you enjoy my blog, and use it for inspiration. Many thanks. Happy crafting, JanB. xx
