Hello, Crafters.
This is my first play with the gorgeous Country Floral Dynamic Embossing Folder. I embossed some Basic Black Cardstock (CS), and sponged it with our Whisper White Craft Ink. I tried four different ways of doing this, and found the best way was to sponge over all the raised areas gently with a Dauber. When I went over the raised areas very firmly, I found this made the embossing less visible. I used a Rectangle Stitched Die to cut the window in the top layer of Whisper White CS. Using Tear & Tape I adhered the embossed cardstock behind the window. Next I used Dimensionals to attached this piece to a layer of Basic Black CS.
I toyed with the idea of wrapping some ribbon around this before adhering to my card base, but I couldn’t find any ribbon I thought went well with my design. Using Tombow I adhered this layer to my card. I wanted this to be a sympathy card, and checked through my file for a suitable sentiment. I found WITH LOVE & SYMPATHY in the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set, and WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY in the Golden Afternoon Stamp Set.
After I heat embossed both sentiments using White Embossing Powder on Basic Black Cardstock, I needed to cut them out. The first sentiment fitted the Classic Label Punch. I found a label die that fitted the second sentiment in the Needlepoint Elements Dies. After I had die cut this sentiment I didn’t like the fancy bits on either end for a sympathy card, and cut them off. Then I tried each sentiment in place and chose the first one. I needed an embellishment for the front of my card. I decided to fussy cut a flower from one of the first sheets I had embossed. To finish off my card, I added some Pearls in the middle of some flowers.
To decorate the inside of my card, I adhered a layer of Basic Black CS, then a layer of Whisper White CS. I fussy cut another flower and adhered it in the bottom right-hand corner. I’m sorry some of my cards look blue, but my photographic skills are more or less non-existent! I hope this doesn’t spoil your enjoyment of today’s card. That’s it from me today. I look forward to being back with you tomorrow. In the meantime, happy crafting.

Wow. That has to be one of the most beautiful cards I’ve ever seen. You are simply amazing. I have that folder coming in my next order. Now I’m sorry I didn’t order any craft ink.
Hi, Kathy. This folder is just amazing. I’ve made another card for my blog tomorrow using it again. You won’t be disappoined with this when it arrives! Happy crafting, JanB. xx
