Hello, Crafters.
I thought yesterday’s card was rather busy for me, but today’s card is even busier! When I had first finished it I thought it was far too busy, but when I saw the photographs, I decided yes, busy but no, not too busy! Like the Lemon Lime Twist flowers yesterday, these three Grapefruit Grove flowers were stamped quite a while ago! I had short-listed the Rose Trellis for a different project I was working on yesterday. In the end I didn’t use it, but I thought it would work well with today’s card.
I stamped four of each set of leaves the same as I did yesterday, except I changed the colour to Call Me Clover. I arranged the two flowers as far apart of each other as possible so the trellis was visible. The sentiment HAPPY BIRTHDAY is from the Piece of Cake Stamp Set. I stamped it on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (CS) using Early Espresso Ink! Like yesterday, I punched the sentiment out using the Classic Label Punch. I also puched a label in Early Espresso CS to use as a layer.
I’m tryng to use up a lot of leftover retired embellishments like dots, jewels, etc. The Early Espresso dots I’ve used on the trellis are so old I can’t even think what they were called! LOL! I’m not sure my flowers should have dark brown centres but I’ve used artistic license as they looked rather bland without!
To decorate the inside my card I added a layer each of Grapefruit Grove and Whisper White CS. I adhered one flower and one fern in the bottom right hand corner, but I’m not happy with how I’ve arranged them! The fern looks as if it has fallen over! That’s about it from me today. I look forward to being back with you tomorrow, and in the meantime, happy crafting.

They’re called Candy Dots; if they’re what I think they are. I still have some. I love them!!!
