Karen’s Butterfly Card Video

Uncategorized

27 Mar

Hello, Crafters.

After sharing Karen’s card last week, I was asked if I’d make a video. The request arrived as I was struggling with the video I was planning for today. I decided to shelve my idea until I have more time to spend on it! The card I made immediately before the video is the blue card, and I stayed with the original colour for the video. The colours used for the blue card are Pool Party, Balmy Blue, and Night of Navy Blends. I wasn’t happy with it originally, but I worked on it while I was waiting for my video to upload on to YouTube. A little bit of tweaking and I’m happy with my card!

What was your reaction when you saw the news about the Stampin Up! Storage Units? Like our customers, demonstrators found out about it today! The excitement is palpable! I have already planned which units I’m going to buy, and how I’m going to arrange them. My existing wooden ink pad storage units will be re-purposed to store my retired ink pads, out of sight! I have an ideal place for them!

My plans include ink pad/marker trays, Stampin’ Blend trays and lids. I may buy some ink refill trays for the top of my stacks, for my Ink Spots. With a lid, the tray will hold nine spots, but I may stack two trays on each other for one or two of them. I can’t see me buying the open cube; well, not yet at least! These units will save a lot of space on my desk, and look a lot more pleasing than my existing units. I’m really thrilled the units are in white.

SEE THE WINK OF STELLA!

These are links to see the flyers that show the UNITS AVAILABLE, and the CONFIGURATION – this will help you work out what you need depending on your stash. Once I have my units and they are set up, I’ll share photographs with you. Below this post you will see a list of questions and answers, which I hope you find useful.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, and I’ll also be interested to hear your feedback – thumbs up or thumbs down! That’s it from me today.Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

Storage by Stampin’ Up! Q&A

Will old-design Stampin’ Pads fit in the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays?

No. The Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays are designed to fit our new-design Stampin’ Pads only.

How high can I stack storage trays?

We stacked up to 50 storage trays without any issues, BUT we would not recommend stacking that high. While our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are sturdy, the higher you stack them, the less stable they’ll become. Use your discretion when stacking.

With the launch of Storage by Stampin’ Up!, are storage products from other companies now deemed competitive?

No. Currently, we have not deemed any other companies’ storage products as competitive. Stampin’ Up! recognises the subjective nature of competitive products and will regularly evaluate products in question, as well as Stampin’ Up!’s core product offerings. We strive to keep the best interests of Stampin’ Up! and our demonstrators in mind.

Can I mount my Storage by Stampin’ Up! products on the wall?

No. Our modular storage products are designed to sit on a table (or similar flat surface).

How should I use the Open Storage Cube?

The Open Storage Cube can be used to hold any miscellaneous items like ribbon, embellishments, and small punches. For more inspiration on ways to use items from our Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line, check out the configuration chart we created.

Can I mix and match Storage by Stampin’ Up! products?

Yes! Our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are modular and designed with customisation in mind. Take a look at the flyer for more information on the size and dimensions of each item in our new modular storage product line.

Do I need a Storage Lid for each 5-tray stack?

No. The Storage Lid covers the top of Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, and Open Storage Cubes, so you need only one per storage configuration.

Are Storage by Stampin’ Up! products free-standing or stacked?

Both. We designed these modular storage products to be free-standing and stackable, so you can customise your crafting space to work best for you.

Will there be expansions to the Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line in the future?

Like all of our product offerings, we hope Storage by Stampin’ Up! will be successful and expand. However, at this point in time, we can’t guarantee any additional modular storage products in the future.

Are there any Storage by Stampin’ Up! bundles available?

We are not currently offering any bundles for items from our Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line. If you’re looking for some examples on how to mix and match our storage pieces together, please take a look at the configuration chart we put together and provided on the demonstrator website.

How many Stampin’ Ink Refills can I store in the Storage Topper?

You can store up to 20 Stampin’ Ink Refills (or other small items) in the Storage Topper.

Are ink pads difficult to remove from Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays?

No. When you insert an ink pad into a storage tray, a small portion of the ink pad will stick out. We designed it this way, so your ink pads will be both secure and easy to access.

Can I buy individual Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays and/or Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays?

No. Both of these items include a set of five white plastic trays. Please use the configuration chart to determine how many storage units you need.

What material do you use to make Storage by Stampin’ Up! products?

Our modular storage products are made with white, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic, which is a lightweight and durable material.

How do the silicone feet work?

To protect your surface and prevent slipping, we’ve included peel-and-stick silicone feet with the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, and Open Storage Cube.

Hi Jan, I just watched your Pull Tab cards video and I have a question. Does your card fit inside the envelope without crushing the tab? Or did you have to make the card smaller to compensate for the tab. Please send your answer to my email. Thank you, Debbie
I just want to say that all of your cards are beautiful. I even made the one above also.
