Hello, Crafters.
Great excitement here in the UK! The German Customs Authorities have released so much of our shipments that we will be able to take part in the OnStage Product Purchase Premier (PPP). It’s just a twenty-four hour slot to place our orders, and it excludes the Ink Refills. I’m so appreciative that Stampin’ Up! listened to our concerns about the adverse effect this delay was having on our businesses! A BIG THANK YOU to Stampin’Up! The weather here is the UK is absolutely gorgeous! I spent yesterday afternoon planning, and prepping for Sunday’s video. The first job I’m doing today is to make a second card to remind me the best way to make it. Then I’ll be ready to start videoing. The plan is to leave it uploading to YouTube while I go down to Sharon to have my nails done!
Today I’m sharing my photographs of my new storage system using Stampin’ Up! Storage. It’s super easy to put together and takes up less room them my two wood units, but holds far more. The two wooden units held all my current SU ink pads! My Stampin’ Write Marker Pens were on the shelf behind me. My Stampin’ Blends were under my laptop shelf on my desk, and the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Stazon Jet Black, and Versamark Pads were on the shelf to my left. All of these items are in my new SU storage units!
The two wooden units are now under my desk, and out of sight, holding all my old ink pads. I bought one of the open cube units which I use to house my Basic Grey Archival Ink, and my Whisper White Craft Ink. I don’t know why I thought I needed three of them! LOL! I don’t know how I managed it but I didn’t order enough units for the Stampin’ Blends. I’ll order two more units when I place my PPP order next week. I have stacked my units five high and three across. I have enough space in the current position to add another six units, which will keep me going for quite a long time!
The white dots on the ends of my Stampin’ Blends are the names of the colours. I always buy the light and dark of each colour. Each colour is placed with the light first, then the dark. The light has been labelled with the first part of the colour name e.g. Daffodil, Cajun, Highland, etc. The dark of each colour is labelled with the second part of the colour name e.g. Delight, Craze, Heather, etc. I recommend this wholeheartedly to all crafters who are looking for storage ideas. It’s great if you like to have your inks and pens within arm’s reach, and it’s great if you have a small crafting space. Please let me know if you have any questions.
The last two photographs show the wooden units, and the Stampin’ Blends under my laptop shelf. That’s it from me today. I hope you have a super Saturday and I look forward to being back with you tomorrow with a video for a fancy fold card! In the meantime, have a great weekend and happy crafting.
