Hello, Crafters.
Yesterday was a lovely day from start to finish! It started with the alarm going off at 8 am, which gave us plenty of time to get showered, fed and watered for our Craft Day 10 am start. I had arranged with the Beefeater restaurant, which is attached to our hotel, to allow us a table in a quiet area so we could do some crafting. They were happy to oblige on the understanding that we bought refreshments during the day. I knew this wouldn’t be a great hardship!I explained to the young lady, who came over to ask if we needed help, about being promised with a table for crafting. She told us to wait while she sorted out a table. In next to no time, she came back to take us to our little crafting corner. I was so pleasantly surprised because she gave us a table for six. The was also a table for two, and a table for four. She said we could use all the tables! YAY!!
We had a fabulous time chatting and crafting. We made two projects. One was this LOVE home decor idea. I was inspired by a video made by my friend and fellow demonstrator Amanda Charlesworth AKA Scrimpingmommy. Our second project was the Explosion Pop Up Card that I shared in a video two weels ago. We were due to finish at 3 pm but we ran over by about forty minutes. We had a fabulous time together. We packed everything up, and made our way back to our hotel. I had to get washed and changed to go to CentreStage. This is an extra event organised by Stampin Up! for Silver Elite and higher demonstrators. We had extra training, and a lovely meal. Hubby went out for dinner with Audrey and Karen; these ladies are my two Super Stars who have joined me at OnStage. The highlight of CentreStage was recieving a copy of the next annual catalogue which goes live on 4th June 2019 – you will not be disappointed!! There are loads of fantastic new stamp sets, a terrifc selection of ribbons, and loads more besides!
That’s about it from me today. It’s an early start today because we have to be at the conference centre for check-in at 8.30 am! It’ll be a long tiring day, but worth every minute of it. I hope you have a great weekend, and I’ll be back tomorrow. (BTW Just a quick reminder that I won’t have a video to share with you tomorrow!) In the meantime, happy crafting.
JanB. xx
