Hello, Crafters.
I hope you’re enjoying a very blessed Easter weekend. After we’ve been to Church this morning, we’re going to Vicki and Leigh’s for lunch. We have some little goodies to take over with us including ten Easter Eggs for the children, whose ages range up to 18 years! I don’t think many of us outgrow our desire for Easter eggs, do we? LOL! Today’s video was inspired by the presentation from Wendy Cranford when she was at one of the OnStage Locals in the US last weekend! I didn’t see Wendy’s presentation, but I have seen the video she’s made subsequently.
Wendy made a quad-fold card using a sheet of 12″ x 12″ cardstock scored at six inches. On the other side she scored at 3″, 6″, and 9″. Three of the panels were cut shorter, and folded upwards to create three pockets instead of my one pocket. Wendy added a piece of decorated Whisper White cardstock in each pocket. Like Wendy, I used the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper to decorate my card.
Three of the four stamp sets I used for today’s card, will be retiring when the new catalogue is launched on 4th June 2019. The three sets that are retiring are Blow Out The Candles, Golden Afternoon, and Hand Delivered which is a Hostess set. The Candles & Confetti Framelits Dies which co-ordinate with the Blow Out The Candles Stamp Set, will also be retiring! The fourth stamp set I used, Meant To Be, is being carried forward, together with the co-ordinating dies!
In my blog on Friday, I said how I saw Natalie use her Stamparatus for all her stamping during an hour long cardmaking video she recorded. I was so impressed, I did the same in my video today! Will this become a permanant feature of how I work? I don’t know, but I sincerely hope it does!
That’s all from me today. I wish you a very happy Easter, and I look forward to being back with you tomorrow! In the mean time, happy crafting.
