Back home!

Hello, Crafters.

We arrived back home yesterday evening, after a pleaantly uneventful journey, at about 6.30 pm. As usual, we had a cup of tea first, and then did all the unpacking. Today we’ll be concentrating on getting the washing done – there’s masses of it! – and other chores that need to be done. Othman doesn’t go back to work until Wednesday, so the chores will be done in half the time!

On Saturday evening there was a Farewell Greece party by the pool. As always, Stampin’ Up put on a good spread for us. Afterwards, when we went back to our cabins, we found our final pillow gifts. First there was this adorable bracelet. The three words are the same on both sides. On the reverse of the Greek buildings, it’s the Stampin’ Up! logo.

We also received the superb Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set. I know I will use most of the sentiments, although there are four or five I possibly won’t, and one that I definitely won’t use – that’s Happy Holidays. It just isn’t a sentiment that’s used in the UK

We have both enjoyed this trip immensely. Unfortunately, I won’t earn next year’s Incentive Trip to Maui because I took my foot of the pedal while I was arranging our wedding! As from 1st October 2019, I will be totally focussed on the 2021 Incentive Trip which is a cruise to the Eatsern Caribbean!

That’s it for today. I’m looking forward to getting back into my normal routine – hopefully by midweek! – so until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB. xx

Oh, yes, definitely! I think Itty Bitty Christmas 150513 will be the most popular Christmas sentiments Stamp Set ever! xx

I love the new Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set too!!
I agree with your saying, that there are a few of
the stamps you wouldn’t be using… mine are
probably the same, along with Season’s Greetings…blagh!

Hi, Janice Lynn. Yes, I like the bracelet because it’s feminine. I know what you mean about the sentiments, too! xx

Love all your cards especially the star card. May May showed how to make a smaller one that will fit in a normal envelope. I like the big star! Working on #399 Diagonal fold card and I just signed up. Congratulations on your marriage. It’s 61 years for us, some very rough, mostly happy. Retirement sucks, illnesses keep sneaking in but we are ok. We have two grandkids that keep us going. Thank you thank you for your videos.
Question? The holder for your dies? Three ring? Did you make it? Does stamping up sell them?

Hi, Joan. Many thanks for your comments. Sixty one years is a very long time; I still havent achieved 61 days yet! LOL! I made a video explaing my die storage unit. It’s a ten minute video with the first seven minutes explaining my storage, and the last three minutes I explain my die numbering system. It’s video no. 273 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2TQ0NakHYk&t=41s I hope this helps. xx
