Hello, Crafters.
We arrived in Dortmund after a relatively uneventful flight from Luton. The airport and the plane were full of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators! It’s a lovely feeling bumping into people you know and chatting. When we arrived at the hotel, we had time to unpack, and for me to get freshened up and over to the Conference Centre over the road.
Demonstrators who are Silver Elite and above, were taken by bus to CentreStage which was held at the local football museum! I know there are a lot of ladies who enjoy football, but unfortunately not this one! But it was a great evening with speeches from both Shelli and Sara Gardner, and then we had dinner. I was super impressed that most of the dishes available were gluten-free!
This morning it’s registration, and we can see the displays, start swapping etc. I’m planning to be there by 10.30 am and the event starts at 12.30 pm. Plenty of time for swapping! I’ll be back as and when I can, hopefully with photographs! In the meantime, happy crafting.
