Hello, Crafters.
I shared this card on my blog on 28th October and I was requested to make a video to show how I made it. One of the features is that the main white star has been made with five die-cut stars adhered together to make a thick image. I like this technique because whichever way you look at the star it’s solid! There aren’t any tell-tale signs of Dimensionals!
Another reason I like this technique is that the points won’t get damaged in the post through lack of support. It isn’t practical to always use this technique to avoid using Dimensionals, but simple shapes are so easy. I used the number 5 Stitched Star Die for the white star and the larger more intricate star stamp for the Gold Foil star inside the white star, and the third-largest more intricate die for the star inside the card.
The Designer Series Papers (DSP) I’ve used on the front of these three cards are in fact card fronts which are part of the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley Set. The bundle has the three designs shown here and there are four of each in the set! It was a toss-up whether I used Gold Embossing Powder for the sentiment or the Delicata Golden Glitz Ink – heat embossing won!
I told you on Friday that I’m going to be baptised today and I’ve been blown away by the number of messages of support I’ve received. I thank each and every one of you who constantly support me in what I do; whether it’s my blog, my videos, my journey with Christ, I thank you all for your support – it’s very much appreciated! Thank you!
I wish you a very blessed Sunday, and I look forward to being back with you tomorrow. In the meantime, happy crafting.
JanB. xx

Congratulations Jan on your Baptism today. We are all on this journey of faith together. It is good that we love and support each other. Many of God’s blessings today and always Jan. Oh as usual the card is lovely. Thank you for all of your teachings.
Debbie
Many thanks, Debbie. You’re right! I worried about sharing my baptism (on my card making blog) but I’ve been overwhelmed by all the support I’ve received! xx
The card is just stunning Jan. Love the way you have done the star! I’ll have to pick a die and see if I can manage that! 🙂 Happy Baptism day to you today! The Lord will be by your side and guide you through thick and thin. Although you do have Hubby to keep you warm and cozy!! TYFS
Bless you, Claire. What an amazing year 2019 has been for me? In January marriage and baptism were not on my radar! But God had different ideas for me! And I’m truly grateful to Him! xxx♥
Congratulations, Jan, on your Baptism today!
May the Lord bless you in many more ways ….
Love in Christ, Candy
Many thanks, Candy. Memories of my baptism will stay with me forever. My day was amazing. xx
