Hello, Crafters.
I’m sorry but I don’t have a card to share with you today. I suffer with quite a lot of migraines, but I very blessed that they are normally short-lived. They start with flashing lights in front of my eyes which affects my vision. Normally I close my eyes for half an hour while waiting for my vision to come back to normal, and that’s it, over! On the rare ocasion it develops into a very bad headache, which is what happened late yesterday afternoon.
I’m confident today will be a much better day and I look forward to being back with you tomorrow. In the meantime, I hope you have a super weekend, and happy crafting.
JanB. xx

We miss you making something stunningly beautiful, but, your health is much more important! I too suffer from migraines! Horrible headaches. Sometimes, I’ve suffered as long as six weeks with one of these headaches. Nevermore, I hope and pray! My doctor started me on an injection, I give myself once a month, and it prevents these nasty migraines from even starting! I just started my first month, this week. I’ll let you know how I do with it. I will keep you in my prayers that it goes away really fast.
Many thanks for your very kind words, Gloria. I can’t imagine hoe awful it must be to suffer for six weeks! It’s great there’s an injection that can and does stop these wretched things from starting! I pray that you enjoy 100% success! xx
Oh Jan. I can sympathize with you, cause I have migraines as well. What I need to do is just sleep and be in a very dark room. So I mainly stay in my bedroom. Hope it get better and gone real soon. Take it easy and I’ll send prayers your way to make it disappear!!!
Bless you, Claire. Your migraines sound like mine were when I was in my twenties! My heart goes out to you because I remember the days so well. I hope you find yours decrease as you get older, too. xx
So sorry to hear you have these troubles with headaches. I used to and then they just stopped. Nothing I did to remedy these, but they thankfully just went away. Hope you can have the same thing. I know you said you are celiac. Do you avoid sugar too? Sometimes sugar can do strange things to a body.
Many thanks for your understanding, Lola. My migraines are normally caused by flashing lights, which includes scrolling on computers, mobile phones, sunshine bouncing off car windscreens, etc. When I was younger they would knock me out for 24-48 hours, so they decreased considerably. What a bonus if they were to disappear altogether? xx
Sorry to hear you suffer from migraines. I, too, suffer from them. I have been taking Turmeric to aide in diminishing their intensiveness and how often I have them. I was diagnosed around 1998, and was prescribed Imitrex. I don’t have them as often or as severe since taking Turmeric.
Wishing you well.
Hi, Rita. Many thanks for sharing this with me. I will certainly be looking into it to see if it can be any benefit to me. Many thanks for sharing. xx
Hi Jan, sorry about your migraine, I know that they are pretty awful. I hope it’s gone or on its way. Thanks for your lovely cards and the videos,
