Hello, Crafters.
Not surprisingly, I didn’t manage to stay up until 3.30 am yesterday for the Leader’s Summit. However, I was still feeling very tired yesterday. I think this was largely because, when I started watching tomorrow’s video, I found a big mistake at 1:45 minutes! Nooo!! If you watch my videos you’ll know I don’t do any proper editing; if I make a boo-boo, you see it and how I get out of it! LOL!
Once I have videoed a tutorial I always watch the video first to make sure it plays correctly. Then I list out all the measurements in inches, metric and US sizing, products used, add tags, set up schedule, etc. When I started playing back my video yesterday, as soon as I hit 1:45 minutes I heard myself give the wrong size for the largest piece of cardstock!
I spoke to hubby and told him I had two options! They were either re-make the video or learn how to add text to the screen! We agreed that I’d get myself organised to re-make the video while he went online to find out if we could add text! About an hour and a half later, I was about ready to set up my video equipment and hubby walked in and asked me what message I wanted on the screen! YAY!! My hero!
I followed him back into his office and he had it sussed! The message says CORRECTION: Cardstock should be 11.5″ x 5″. I feel relaxed now that the message is on the screen all be it for a much longer time than is necessary! LOL! We had realised this but time was marching on relentlessly and I said let’s leave it – rather too long than not long enough!
That’s it from me for today. As much as I have thoroughly enjoyed the Leader’s Summit and I’m buzzing with new ideas and new plans, I look forward to getting back to my routine! LOL! It’s like going on holiday! I love travelling but I love getting back home, too! I’ll be back with you tomorrow and in the meantime, take care and stay safe. Happy crafting!

Groetjes Manon
Veel dank Manon. Ik hoop dat je het leuk vindt om een van deze kaarten te maken. xx
Love the Card, and glad I’m not the only one who struggles to open the stamp pads, keep up the great work Jan
Best wishes xx
Many thanks, Kay. I know you can use a cotton bud to apply some Vaseline along the ink pad runner to make life easier. I don’t like doing that because I don’t like the idea of all that stickiness, plus the dust and grit that will be attracted to the Vaseline! xx
Jan, all the cards are wonderful. I can’t wait to watch the video and I’m glad hubs got an easy fix for you. Enjoy your day.
Many thanks, Karen. It takes away a huge worry for me knowing I can corrections on screen. Hopefully, I won’t need to use it very often! xx

I can’t seem to find the directions with demotions
Hi, Roberta. You must be watching the video on YouTube, and if you’re on a laptop or PC, you will see about three lines of writing immediately below the video. It will read SHOW MORE, click on it and the box will open. If you’re watching on a phone there will be a black down arrow on the right-hand side. xx
Absolutely amazing card!
Many thanks, Lennie. xx
