Hello, Crafters.
I’m totally humbled by the lovely comments you have left regarding my news about my Stampin’ Up! achievements! I cannot thank you enough! 💖💖
We had a lovely day at OnStage yesterday – virtually – which included doing some crafting. I think the three cards we made are the best make’n’takes ever! Before the event, we were supplied with a complete list of what we needed to join in with the fun including the sizes of the cardstock and DSP, inks, tools etc. The measurements supplied were for North America so I converted them to my usual size and I also added my regular middle and top layers – I love my layers! This is what made my cards so very much better than “normal” make’n’take cards!
Athough the card designs are not what I would have chosen, I do love the variations and the extra details. The stamp set is called Dragonfly Garden which has a matching Dragonflies Punch and Dandy Garden DSP. These will be available in the new Mini catalogue 2021. Attendees to OnStage@Home were given the opportunity to pre-order the bundle in time for the event. For those who preferred to use products they already owned were allowed to do so.
Yesterday we also had an external speaker who was at the Leaders Summit back in August. She was excellent on that occasion so SU booked her again and she didn’t let us down! She was amazing. Her presentation was based on recruiting and her approach to it was very different – far more relaxed – than I had ever imagined it to be!
Today we have several breakout classes during the day with the event finishing at 2.30pm GMT. Despite the challenges the pandemic has created Stampin’ Up! has faced during these difficult times, they have continued to be totally supportive towards everyone – staff and demonstrators. It really is an amazing company and I’m so very happy to be a part of it!
That’s about it from me for today. I look forward to being back with you in the morning with my Sunday video. In the meantime, please take care and stay safe. Happy crafting!

Brilliant, Jan! Thanks so much for sharing parts of the process here for us to see!
Many thanks, Kimy. Glad you like what I did! xx
Jan,
I attended the virtual Onstage as well. The changes you made to the samples really improved them. I wouldn’t have thought using the same design dsp rather than 3 different ones on a card would make such a difference. Also, the additional layers really give them some life. The cards as demonstrated were a little too plain for me. Yours are beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration.
Many thanks, Gerri. I love layers on my cards and that has been an advantage of a virtual OnStage event! xx
Lovely idea to add the mini pearls! The inside needs to be as lovely as the outside! Stampin up golden rule! But I was able to design something using your neat design with other cards always adding that thin layer on the inside really dresses up the card to a “Wow” thank you for posting (: aloha & blessings from MN
Many thanks for your kind words, Lailoni. xx
