Hello, Crafters.
Yesterday I made a New Home card for a very special couple and I was hoping to share it with you today. Long story short! I spent so much time making the card, I didn’t have enough time to photograph it and write a blog but I will be sharing it with you tomorrow. I do want to share with you one thing I did on this card that I’ve never tried before and I’m really chuffed with the result!
I’m hoping you can see in this photograph what I have done, i.e. I embossed my top layer of Whisper White Cardstock (CS) using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. With the new Cut & Emboss Machine it isn’t necessary to spray your cardstock with water before embossing – you get an excellent result without doing it! Unfortunately, I forgot that I was using my Big Shot! Not surprisingly, I wasn’t happy with the result! Rather than discarding my layer I put it back into the embossing folder but turned it round so the lines were going in the opposite direction, and then ran it through my Big Shot. The result is that I have lines going in both direction! In real life it looks great. If you can’t see it very well in this photograph, hopefully you will tomorrow when I share the complete card!
That’s it from me today. I’ll be back tomorrow and let you know which two stamp sets and six sets of dies I used to create this card. That’s not a typo! I really did use dies from six different sets! LOL! I think that must be a record for me! Take care and stay safe. Happy crafting.

cannot see card, cut off.
Hi, Patricia. I only showed a close-up of the double-embossed Whisper White cardstock layer so you could see the result. The full card can be seen on Friday. xx
Can’t really see the picture of the card.
